Just wondering if you have any favorite tracks to get dressed and makeup. For me, it really gets me relaxed and into a sexy mood. My fav is "Look of Love" by Beegie Adair.

Sandra Dee, from the Grease soundtrack.
I've got a whole playlist. Too many tracks to recount here.
I am like Mikki! A whole playlist plus I might just listen to the radio and have random music going! Depends on how I feel that day! Hugs Lana Mae
Life is worth living!
"Foxy lady! You look so good!!" Jimi Hendrix
Never really understood why CD's do this but it seems common because there are a lot of threads on the subject.
I feel the same no matter what music I listen to.
I do feel a connection with some female artists just because I feel female internally all the time.
To put it another way I don't have to induce feeling feminine I'm just that way all the time.
I prefer a ball game on tv. I listen, and if anything exciting happens, I can see it on replay. Not that dressing up is exciting enough.
I know that it is old, but Shania is special in my heart, always will be.
Hugs,
Bree
Brandy Mathews
Yes, Shania Twain's "I feel like a woman" certainly gets me in that mood.
"The only way is onward. There is no turning back."
I just ask Alexa to play music by various female artists like Adele, Faith Hill etc.
I usually don't play music when I'm getting dolled up; that being said, if I do it is most likely some heavy metal, such as Meshuggah, Amon Amarth, Lorna Shore, or Hatebreed.
Melissa: "... and why are you dressed as a woman?"
Coach McGuirk: "Because it's freeing."

Shoe size: 9 US women's.
Dress size: M to L; 8-10.
Height: 5' 6".
I,too, don't play music when I dress or makeup, but if i did, it would be, "I enjoy being a girl."
I work in a machine shop. When relaxing of any sort (this includes getting Joni ready) all I want is quiet with no background noise. I have enough noise going on in my head with tinitis.
Jon
I'll go for the one by Brasil '66 sung by Lanni Hall. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFxS6H0pG8A
It's always been one of my favorites. I wore out the 45. Drove my family nuts, playing it all day long. Lanni's got such a sweet voice.
Some causes of crossdressing you've probably never even considered: My TG biography at:http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/...=1#post1490560
There's an addendum at post # 82 on that thread, too. It's about a ten minute read.
Why don't we understand our desire to dress, behave and feel like a girl? Because from childhood, boys are told that the worst possible thing we can be, is a sissy. This feeling is so ingrained into our psyche, that we will suppress any thoughts that connect us to being or wanting to be feminine, even to the point of creating separate personalities to assign those female feelings into.
I would mostly play old disco music. Maybe cause this was the music I listened to way back when I was first getting ready to go out. Songs like "You make me feel" by Sylvester.
In solitude where we are least alone. Byron
I like it quiet. That way I can hear if anyone is coming home.
Omg I have a whole playlist full of Shania, Spice Girls, Britney, Christina, Carrie Underwood, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Ariana
And I blast it too. It enhances the experience for me.
Couldn't have timed this better!
Placebo - Begin The End (Alternate Director Version)
This is like looking in the mirror for me!
STOP, Well I just dance the way I feel
Stop breathing imagine none of this is real
Well I just dance the way I feel
Well I just dance the way I feel
Well I just dance the way I feel "Ou Est Le Swimming Pool"
Iris,
Don't have the time to think about music tracks, I just want to get ready , jump in my car and go . It also means something else to tidy away .
I don't have any music on while getting ready but do play a few tracks when done just as background noise. Kate Bush and PJ Harvey mostly but many others.
Here today, gone tomorrow....
I like it quite. Most f the time and I have country music on normally. Most all the songs are about girls.
Part Time Girl
I will admit while I was dressing the other day and Ryan Upchurch's song Outlaw came on so I got into it.
Thats some country I can relate to.
Go ahead look it up on you tube.If I posted it here I would get accused of all kind of things I am not, its just a great song.

For me its "Dressed for Success" by Roxette. Yeah I know kinda old but hey its my dress-up song during my teenage years.
I pretty much listen to the same stuff as I do in dude mode. Though I may get more into the Cardigans, Garbage, or Hole when it's Allison time.
of late I've been humming to Sweetie by Carly Rae Jepsen.
