A pair of hoop earrings. I had already had them pierced when I was around 12 (cool skater kid times lol) and I would dress up in my moms clothes while she wasn't home. I'd often try on her earrings, but if anything was missing, she would know. I remember riding my bike to Walmart which wasn't very far away and buying some big hoop earrings. I absolutely loved them! I have no idea what happened to those now lol.

I was 16 and at the grocery store picking up a few things. There was an aisle with nylons and tights and I just couldn't resist. I quickly grabbed a pair of white tights off the shelf and threw them in the cart. I got home super excited to try them on, but soon discovered that in my hastiness, I actually bought little girls tights. I was barely able to pull them up past my knees! Oh well, you live, you learn!
I bought a pair of tights for my mum, then just had to try them on ... and kept them until my step-mother found them in my coat pocket
But the first thing I actually bought for ME ( mail order) was a skirt, wide loose calf-length poly-cotton, big flowers on black design
It's complicated, then again it's simple ... where did I put that skirt?
Hmm, my first was so long ago.What sticks in my mind is a white bra & matching panties. Early in my dressing career, I just couldn't get brave enough to buy anything myself. Getting married is when I got brave. My ex couldn't find nice looking bras for herself. I did, I learned to ignore others, in my search for her. Then it just didn't bother me.
It was pantyhose , I bought them with the premise they were for my wife. I wrote the details on a note and asked the sales lady to help.
I had to think back and it was panty hose that i bought in my younger years for my fist purchase. LOL I like thigh highs now and have 1 pair of panty hose.

I bought a full set from matching bra and panties and a cute blouse and skirt and open toed black 4 in heels.
Panties is where it started, then came the nighties, stockings and cheap wigs.. then the hunger kicked in (it's never enough).
Although this was mail orders, my first in store was pantyhose.

My first purchase was a pair of Leggs Silken Mist pantyhose, size Q. They were dark brown I think the color name was mahogany? They were a little too small, and I was quite a bit smaller then myself, but they were not making size Q+ yet, at least not that I knew of.
I remember how nervous I was as I stood there at the rack studying the size chart and hoping the biggest size was big enough!
Until then I was wearing my sisters cloths
