I don't know if this is allowed, but there are quite a few links to some valuable cd friendly websites. However, none of them are very centralized.

In this post is it possible for people to post the websites they think they find are value cd resources.

So if you have a great crossdresser resource please post it here.

Obviously I think my own site is very CD friendly, and I have a lot of articles that I have written and pieces of information for those that are just starting out.

The site is located at www.apparentlyfemale.com (http://www.apparentlyfemale.com) and I have had it on the net since 1995.

Of course if this is nothing but self-promotion, I fully understand if it is removed...

I think that this is a great idea that could be a Sticky. If the Mods think that a site is not appropriate for this forum, they could remove that specific link while leaving any other acceptable ones in the post.

Out of curiosity, I checked the FAQ and general rules of the forums and did not see anything against posting links. That is unless they led to porn, warez, malware or otherwise unsafe sites. I think the owners of this site are very generous to let us share other good places for us to get education and information on the topics that concern or interest all of us.

hiya Briana,

An A-Z topic index would be a great way to organize a CD resource list. I know it would take a lot of time to "screen" each link first, to make sure it is appropriate to post it here on the forum. But in my opinion it would be well worth the effort. I know I have posted the same links repeatedly. I have seen others do the same since historical links get "buried" in archived posts as time passes. This would eliminate much of that repetition.

If you can get a clear answer on the "is it ok?"...I have a boatload of indexed information I would be happy to share.

I organize my resource information/links by topic (legal, tutorials, articles, male vs female, conversions, etc.) so I know exactly where to look for specific info.

I also keep a list of links to "indexes" & "link lists" I find on other sites. For example I file the HRC legal resource links on their site under "L", then sub heading "legal" in my own A-Z resource list for CD information.

Just listing a bunch of sites does not help me when I am trying to remember where I found shoe size charts, clothing conversions, etc.

Yep, it was the first thing I looked for when I joined and found it odd there was not some type of "master list".

I'm ready...you go first...if you get shot, I will run and hide, and call an ambulance for you...or a good attorney:D

If your site is removed for being self promotion I will repost it Tamara. Your site has helped me too many times to count.

I too agree, her site was invaluable to me when I selected my wig and her information on makeup is good also. I thank her from the bottom of my heart for giving us this information.

www.crossdressers.com/forums..... The only one I've ever needed. Lol. The only other resources I use are all main stream women's sites.
