I just finished watching a TV show (this is in the UK) where one of the threads of the plot featured a married couple with a CD husband.
The show is basically about a lawyer in a small country town who deals with interesting problems each week. This week the wife comes to him and says she wants a separation: on questioning she reluctantly says husband has taken to wearing dresses and she just can't tolerate it.
It was pleasing to see that the lawyer tried to mediate and gave out all the talk about if you love each other can't you find a way to accommodate this, etc.
What I found unrealistic was the husband's account of how he came to be a CDer though. They had been married 14 years and things were getting a little dull in the bedroom so he tried wearing lingerie as a way of "spicing up the marriage". But, once bitten, instantly smitten, and after that he just had to wear dresses around the house all day. No previous experience necessary.
Also the onscreen depiction was of a CDer from the neck down. He had regular guy hair and no make-up, but wore a series of beautiful designer frocks and suits.
The conclusion was a happy one though - the wife relents, and he's even wearing panties under his suit in the final scene (so he says...)
All in all, not too bad a depiction of the CD predicament.
