Let's hear it for the normal people.

Let's just get this into perspective.

    Is there anyone here who....

    Doesn't want to dress 24/7
Doesn't want to BE a woman.
    Does it for FUN.
Gets a buzz out of it.
Can take it or leave it for weeks at a time.
Isn't having a nervous breakdown over it.

I just thought there might be a few more than me out there.

Of course there are. Lots and lots of us just want to be guys with a feminine side. There are literally ALL kinds of CDers.

I don't fit your specs, but there are plenty who do. I am quite sure that I (as a 24/7 girl) am in the minority.

    Doesn't want to dress 24/7
    I do, don't no if I want
Doesn't want to BE a woman.
Don't want, don't try to look like one.
    Does it for FUN.
    Fun-dressing ? rarely.
Gets a buzz out of it.
Except for fear when going out, no particular buzz. It lightens up the mood though ... usually.
Can take it or leave it for weeks at a time.
Didn't try for 1.5 years. But I guess it would be hard to stop.
Isn't having a nervous breakdown over it.
    No nervous breakdown here.

I just thought there might be a few more than me out there.
I never said that I am normal like you

While I'm sure my wife would argue the normal part this pretty much describes me.

    I dont wanna dress 24/7
    I dont wanna BE a WOMAN---(Not all the time N E ways)
    YES it IS fun
    YES, I get a BUZZ
YES take or leave it 2 or 3 weeks at a time
Not worrying about it---Once I deduced I was NOT Homosexual (not that there is anything wrong with that) and once I discovered WHY I was doing it, I was never concerned since.

I think 24/7 would wear off pretty quickly. I am a man and I like to dress up as a woman sometimes, I call that crossdressing. If I don't do it, the urge builds and I need to release it. I don't understand why or where it comes from, I hid and felt guilty about it for decades, but now I understand it is a part of me. It is fun also.

    Hello Julie!
I am just as you say with only mild exceptions. There is not a day or so that goes by that I don't think about dressing. I don't get the nervous breakdown and bite my nails if I don't, but I do think about dressing more then you do. I definately do it more then "weeks at a time". I also love to go out to a bar that accepts transgendered people and strut my stuff so to speak! That is part of the buzz and fun.

Life is too short for things like that to worry me.

Ok so my wife says Im normal but it begins with aby,,,, aby-normal
Im really there with ya Julie now but there was a time if I didnt get out or have plans to, I was depressed.
Maybe its age or just finally becoming comfortable with myself but Im ok with dressing when I feel like it,, just for me ?
Its funny tho, i can go months without fully dressing but I check this site and a couple others most every day so does that make my wife right about me being aby-normal ? I hope not ! It pisses me off when she is right *S*

I still don't consider myself "NORMAL" because of my temperament towards CrossDressing.

The NORM in this culture is "Doesn't CrossDress".

    I feel HUMAN, though !

    My answer

    Well, I don't dress 24/7

I do enjoy looking good, whether it is in women's or men's clothes.

I have figured out that I can look good (to myself) in either but I try to pass as gender neutral. There are some women's clothes that I can wear that anyone (except the trained eye) would not question as "male" clothes.

Maybe I am in the closet, maybe I am hoping for the "connotation" of female fabrics to encompass a male's style.

I wonder how many would be able to be free enough to wear a pair of rear zip pants, silk top, and 2 inch heels as a male without wearing a wig and breast prothesis?

Do I think that a man could look good in such an outfit? I do...and someday, it will happen.

    Normal ??

Who wants to be normal. Normal is merely a set of mores that society agrees upon at a certain time.

For me its not about being normal its about being me. No labels, no worrying about conforming, just being me and enjoying life

    Normal? What's normal?

My previous car had a hologram sticker on it that read,

    Normal People Worry Me.

"I never kept up with the fashions. I believed in wearing what I thought looked good on me." --Bettie Page

    Here are my answers:

Doesn't want to dress 24/7 - I would love to live totally as a woman for like a month or 2 to see if I really wanted to dress 24/7. I think I do but having to wear a bra all day every day, well.....

Doesn't want to BE a woman. - No, don't want to be a woman

Does it for FUN. - it is a blast!! how can it not be fun

Gets a buzz out of it. - see answer above

Can take it or leave it for weeks at a time. - not sue I can leave it for weeks on end. If I can't be in female clothing for a few days, I really miss it!!

Isn't having a nervous breakdown over it. - would never have a nervous over anything

    Stef
