What a terrific concept! I live in Canada and we have a Charter of Human Rights and related legislation to protect citizens from violations. I am not very knowledgable about the details of this, however it has had quite a significant impact on this country.

In my imaginary role as minister, my first objective would be to change all of the language in this Charter to be gender neutral and speak about "persons" and "people", instead of "men" and "women". I would also become the country's spokesperson for Human Rights at home and abroad and focus on transgender issues. I would consult with experts here and abroad to obtain their feedback on how we could encourage more acceptance of transgendered persons in society and implement new legislation to acheive that goal. My staff would include highly qualified and knowledgable people who were transgendered.

It would be an amazing opportunity, if it were real.

In fact I try to buy female clothes with the buttons/zips on the male side.

Okay, here's a few off the top of my noggin ...

1. All government documents must be gender neutral. (as previously suggested)

2. All restrooms must be unisex, with appropriate apparatii for all genders.

3. All sports teams must be unisex.

4. There should no longer be Men's and Women's sections for clothing. This does mean unisex clothing. Rather any style clothing is appropriate; gender does not dictate style worn.

Assumption 1: Most, if not all, CDs seek for acceptance (at least it is a big issue here)
Assumption 2: You have the means and power of a minister (secretary) at hand.
Assumption 3: You have only a limited time to make the best out of it for the CD community. (In particular you can't wait until scientists found finally out what they are talking about, and it should have an effect during our lifetime.)

Your task: Make the life for CDs and their SOs more easy.

Oh my!!! How could all these politicians be so proactive?

Set up an ad hoc committee to study the situation and make recommendations to hire a consultant. Considering the earlier events of the day that would have to be Karren Hutton of course.

She could hold the first meeting in er... the executive washroom where they could vote to disband and refer the situation back to committee at a modest cost of course.

Then it would have to go to Tina D's garage for further study.

Oh this could go on and on..... in the end four years later, nothing would be accomplished except a lot of people making big bucks on expense accounts and padded billings.

Then finally it would have to become an election issue where it would die after the election.

Convince some more cosmetic and beauty supply companies to come out with guides specifically geared to us. All makeup guides nowadays are written with women in mind, but I dont know of one who has to deal with beard shadow!

Mandate all talk shows like the Maury Show, Jerry Springer et al, that have shows dealing with the audience decided whether a provocatively dressed woman onstage is a man or a genetic woman will be banned immediately.

Tell Hollywood, that CD's are not only to be used for comedy relief.
